boredom compels me to sleep. dogsitting tomorrow morning, maybe FINALLY getting my phone switched to the enV 3, and then going over the besties' for new years (:

today was pretty awesome. it was my mommie's birthday as well, so that put me in a good mood. it started it off nicely when i woke up nice and late! i lazed around and ate nothing for breakfast because we had no soy milk, but i didn't mind. i skip breakfast alot when i'm just too tired to eat.

i took a shower, but my sister had used up all the hot water, so it was just barely lukewarm, so i had to get out pretty quickly before i froze. which i actually didn't mind that much, because nothing has been able to spoil my good mood. it being close to christmas and all snowy and beautiful outside we got 21 inches of snow since friday night!! apparently it's going to snow on christmas eve as well!!


but anyway, another great thing that happened, was that i received my autographed taylor swift cd/dvd in the mail i'm so happy. taylor is my favorite singer right now, and watching those interviews and behind the scenes videos just made me realize how cool she is as a person too. i mean, it's not like you can know someone from watching select bits of their lives in front of a camera, but she just seems like a real sweetheart, someone you'd want to be friends with i guess (:

we planned on going sledding today, but my one friend wasn't home for most of the day, so that didn't happen. oh wells, there's plenty more time for it. but we did walk down to my granny's house in the snow, which was loads of fun. i took pictures on my camera phone, but they didn't do justice of how beautiful it was out, especially since it was nearing sunset.

at granny's we watched the movie "paranormal activity", which was really good. very creepy, and soo well acted! i can see how some people were saying that it was an actual documentary. i'll definitely be more freaked out by any bumps in the night tonight

my parents were going to take 3 of my little siblings to the nutcracker ballet for my mom's birthday, but it has been postponed due to the weather. so they went to an ethiopian restaurant instead and brought home leftovers! very yummy, but very spicy. my stomach feels like it is radiating heat from within me, even thought it's been like 2 hours since i ate it!!

right now 2 of my sisters are watching criminal minds on a laptop. i really do like the show, but i have seen all the episodes they are catching up on, so i'm kinda bored. hence the lengthy journal update. very unusual to me to do any actual "journaling" actually.

tomorrow, hanging with the best friend (~kiwikiwi-black) to celebrate the end of the school semester! probably doing lunch, shopping, watching "inglourious basterds" and having a sleepover. ought to be epic!! anyways, that's really all i have to say hoping anyone who has got snow as well is safe and enjoying the weather!!
