Yeah, and I'm thinking that maybe (in the latest episode) what Kate was 'doing for Sawyer' had to do possibly do with his future guilt concerning his inability to prevent Claire's death...

But that's just my theory. lol.
You know, Desmond never saw Claire actually get out of that helicopter alive, you know?

Hmm, yeah, maybe. I hope Claire doesn't die, but I don't really see a way for them to avoid it at this point, unless they totally can't find her in the jungle and the helicopter is leaving and they have to decide whether to take Aaron.

I think in the future maybe Sawyer had made her promise to get in contact with Cassidy and Clementine. I dunno *shrugs*
